I share your pain. We have spent the last week lugging broken pine boughs to the front lawn--more than 50 cartloads. The "chipper man" is coming Saturday. My entire front lawn is covered with broken boughs. It is very sad. Jeanine
I "bush whacked" my pine bows because I was afraid of that very thing!
I live near the Chesapeake Bay, and I've had a bay leaf tree make it for 15 winters... it's about 8' high... this winter may have finally done it in.
